WELCOME SUMMIT, 2026

We are excited to return to Washington, D.C., for the 10th Annual Summit on May 8, 2026, under our new name, The Nicotine Summit – Science, Regulation & Public Health. Registration and hotel bookings are now open.

Over the past decade, the nicotine and tobacco landscape has changed significantly, raising questions about how the rise of non-combustible nicotine products aligns with government and public health goals to eradicate smoking and improve population and individual health. This shift has created policy, scientific, and political challenges that require balancing the dynamic interplay of initiation and cessation across multiple product categories and diverse populations with different needs.

As governments consider regulatory and enforcement measures for nicotine and tobacco products, it is vital that policies and regulations are grounded in robust evidence and have clearly defined objectives. The key question this year will be: What challenges need to be addressed, and how will we measure success to determine whether we’ve achieved them?

The Summit offers a unique forum for respectful dialogue and analysis of independent scientific evidence on health, regulatory and policy issues that will shape future generations’ smoking and nicotine use. We hope you can join us in Washington, D.C., this May for the 10th-anniversary Summit and the inaugural Nicotine Summit.

WE ARE HYBRID

The Nicotine Summit offers live and on-demand viewing options for those unable to join us in person. We will “live stream” the Summit as per the agenda (US EST). Individual videos of the speaker presentations and panel discussions will be added to the virtual platform within 48 hours of the live event, so you can watch/re-watch later.  The app will be live for 3 months after the event.
